The NBA cares

Two Chicago-area burglaries involving Eddy Curry and Antoine Walker have prompted the NBA and the Chicago Bulls to warn players living in the area to be careful. "Any time something has happened multiple times you want to take precautions to be sure everyone is educated," NBA spokesman Tim Frank told the Chicago Tribune. "We have had two players reportedly held at gun point. You can't get more concerning than that."

"They just told you to be careful, be aware of your surroundings, don't go out in places by yourself, and just kind of lay low a little bit," Bulls guard Chris Duhon told ABC7 in Chicago.

Aren't these instructions pretty much identical to the ones given to women and children when they head out at night? Its a sad state of affairs when a 7 foot black man has to live in fear. Unless you were to tell me that Kobe got sodomized at gunpoint, cause that's just funny. And that's real justice, yo!
