Three-legged athlete almost dies

One of our favourite "athletes" at the Smoke tried to take its life recently. Runner Santhi Soundarajan, who was stripped of a silver medal at the Doha Asian Games last year after failing a gender test, attempted suicide last week. Family sources said that Santhi had consumed pesticide when she was undergoing physical training at Pudukottai. Police said Santhi was driven by "lack of recognition" and controversies surrounding her gender after having to give back the women's 800m silver, which also resulted in "unemployment and lack of support from the government".

I can solve her problem. 1. The lack of recognition has to do with the fact you live in a country of 1 Billion people. 2. To solve the controversy, do what every other amateur athlete does when their career is fading. Appear in "PlayIt."
