Home invasions are on the menu

Two men who entered the home of Houston Texans cornerback Dunta Robinson, bound someone with duct tape and stole jewelry. The robbery took place shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday at the house authorities said. The two men, with red bandannas covering their faces, entered through an unlocked door, officers said. Both wore Los Angeles Dodgers baseball caps, deputies were told. Officers said one of the men walked into the living room of the home and, at gunpoint, ordered an occupant to lie on the floor and bound that person with duct tape while the other man looked for valuables. The men took several pieces of jewelry and fled. Investigators did not say whether Robinson was the person who was bound, or whether he was even at home at the time. No injuries were reported.

We all know how much pro athletes love their bling, but a home invasion just to steal some accessories seems a little excessive. Just like a few years ago when Korey Stringer died just to get out of his conditioning drills.
