Glaus and Gibbons used

Toronto Blue Jays third baseman Troy Glaus is the latest athlete to be implicated in a steroid controversy. According to a Sports Illustrated report, Glaus may have received steroid shipments through an internet distribution network called Signature Pharmacy. An SI source alleges that shipments of nandrolone and testosterone were sent to a Corona California address which traces to Glaus between September 2003 and May 2004. Both nandrolone and testosterone were on Major League Baseball's banned list during that span.

Also making roid news was Jay Gibbons of the Baltimore Orioles. Between October 2003 and July 2005, Gibbons got six shipments of Genotropin (a brand name for synthetic human growth hormone), two shipments of testosterone and two shipments of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), SI.com said, citing a source in Florida with knowledge of a Signature Pharmacy client list. SI.com said its information dealt only with receipt of the drugs, not use.

I must say I am shocked. The way the media has been playing the steroid scandal over past few years, I thought Barry Bonds was the only user ever in the history of sports. Wow, this blows my mind. But not in the Ricky Berry kind of way.
