Tuesday, Serena Williams lost to two-time defending champion Justine Henin 6-4, 6-3 at the French Open. Henin extended her Open era record winning streak at Roland Garros to 31 consecutive sets. The Belgian is two rounds from becoming the first woman to win three consecutive French Open titles since Monica Seles in 1990-92. "All she had to do was show up," Williams said. "I just pretty much stood back and let her take advantage of me."
Normally if a woman made that quote about another female we’d all start getting pretty excited. But considering it came out of that horse Serena Williams' mouth, it’s about as hot as over-hearing Martina Navrotilova saying she wants to ace the server’s box.
