No one likes a faker

The GSK Phoenix of the Sussex Football Association performed a side-splitting stunt by observing a minute's silence prior to a match last week in honour of a “dead” player, who in fact wasn’t dead but had simply been dropped from the first team.

This is exactly like that prank OJ pulled on Nicole. Except that it wasn’t a prank. Or funny.
