I must admit, I was really shocked when I saw the NHL was going to have an award named after Mark Messier. I didn’t realize they are now going to give a monthly award for players who bang skanks and have illegitimate kids. I would have thought this type of award would have been better suited for the NBA. WHAT? The award is for leadership? Who cares then?
